Apr 18, 2015 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
This weekend, Long Beach will be hosting its 41st Toyota Grand Prix. I was able to go yesterday and snap some photos of the event. The weather was a bit hot but bearable enough to walk around because there was plenty of stuff to see. The first thing you hear when you walk in is its loud noise of Indy cars taking its laps around the track. When I saw them, they were just practicing for their next race. Inside the Long Beach Convention Center, they had showrooms where you can see these cars up close and personal, some were just for show and others were working on them for the next qualifying race. They also had small booths where companies were promoting their products. I instantly saw a booth with a bunch of massage chairs. I had to end the event with a nice foot massage before walking back to the office.
