Nov 10, 2014 The only time you can play with food
Every year in the month of November, nonprofit Canstruction will team up with architects and designers to help raise food and awareness for the hungry. They are given 75,000 cans to build a unique sculpture of their own. On the last day, the art is disassembled and donated to City Harvest, so they can distribute the canned foods across the city. Last year, the charity helped feed more then 26,000 hungry families. The exhibit will be held in New York at the Winter Garden till November 20th and donations of nonperishable foods are highly recommended.
