May 14, 2015 GIFs: The Words of the Future
Not only has communication been reduced down to a texting only medium, but it’s been further streamlined with the additions of emojis and animated GIFs. Oddly enough these powerful “tools” actually compensate for our lack of ability to effectively articulate and communicate how we feel or even what we are thinking. A classic “shades face” here, a “fist bump” there, and then a totally fitting animated GIF to top it all off. The words of the future… is the future of now.
