Here’s a short video about a very novel approach to marketing on the Pinterest platform, which was recently executed by Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO. Lots of fashion brands are on Pinterest now, for obvious reasons, but UNIQLO has really made a splash with this effort in conjunction with New York agency Firstborn. The jury still seems to be out as to whether this unique approach is an unwelcome hostile takeover, dubbed “hacking” by Creative Review, or just a very cool, eye-catching new way to get noticed on another platform.
