Earlier in the year, Staple Design shared this fascinating story about Japanese clothing retailer MUJI having unveiled a big new promotion: the chance to live for two years, for free, in a fully-furnished, beautifully-appointed, and well-stocked MUJI house in Mitaka Tokyo. The catch? The winner, who will be selected by lottery, will be required to take part in surveys regarding the products on hand in the house. Unfortunately, the window to submit your name closed at the end of June. Now that we’re in August, it’s just about time for them to announce the winner. One of the nearly 60,000 entrants will be moving in next January.
