Dec 05, 2010 Art Basel: “Exhale” Pavillion
Phu Hoang and Rachely Rotem Studios came together to build this beautiful work of art constructed of seven miles of reflective and phosphorescent ropes. Designed to interact with its environment, the ropes move with the breeze and even glow depending on the wind speed. Some ropes have sensors at human height so visitors can blow on them to see that section light up! The “Exhale” Pavillion is one of the main attractions for this year’s Art Basel in Miami.
