We recently attended the LA chapter of Creative Mornings, which is a series of free monthly breakfast lectures for creative types. The series of talks was founded by Tina Roth Eisenberg of Swiss Miss and has expanded to 34 cities around the world. The LA effort is headed by Jon Setzen, Creative Director at Media Temple and takes place at the beautiful 722Figueroa space. The speaker was talented music video director Nabil Elderkin, who was quite entertaining, casually discussing some of the major highlights and challenges in his career. There’s also a Kickstarter project up and running, in an effort to raise funds and create a digital home for the Creative Mornings content.
