At Google’s developers’ conference they unveiled a project which combines tech and fabric. Google being the tech side and denim brand Levi Strauss & Co. on the fabric end. So what are they creating? Wearable tech. Not the super cool sci-fi stuff you’d see in the movies, though, just the basic necessities to start with. Project Jacquard is looking to have clothes on the market with the ability to transmit gestures to a device by fall of 2016. The video below is an introduction to the project, and from the looks of it should be very interesting.
