Jun 09, 2016 Kamea Hadar’s “Hapa” mural in Honolulu
Kamea Hadar, Pow! Wow! Hawaii’s Co-Lead Director, recently painted his “Hapa” mural commissioned by a Hawaii law firm, Galiher DeRobertis Waxman. Located on the corner of Ward Avenue and Kapiolani in Kakaʻako, Kamea painted a portrait of Barack Obama and his 2008 Philadelphia speech to promote racial equality. I don’t want to ruin any surprises so I’ll let Kamea explain the whole process and insight on his latest mural in the video below.
