Here’s a short documentary about an inspiring project by Spanish art collective Boa Mistura, from January this year. As part of their Crossroads series of projects, the artists spent 10 days in Vila Brasilândia, São Paulo, Brazil, painting massive, colorful, typographic messages across large sections of rundown communities. The artwork was done such that, from the right angle, the walls form letters spelling out words such as “beauty” and “sweetness” in Portuguese.
