Dec 18, 2015 Old Church Transformed Into A Skate Spot
The Church of Santa Barbara in Llanera, Asturias, was abandoned for many years and was deteriorating from neglect. With help from online fundraising and Red Bull, a collective called ‘Church Brigade’ helped refurbish the place and turned it into a beautiful public skate park called Kaos Temple. The walls and ceilings were covered by artist Okuda San Miguel with his unique style of colorful geometric figures. Hopefully I get to skate this one day if I ever go to Spain.
