I recently purchased a bottle of perfume for my wife, she mentioned she really liked the certain scent. So I went out and got it for her, and I did some googling and realized I had just stumbled on to a company that’s been around since before 1612. Santa Maria Novella originating in Florence has been producing scents & elixirs centuries ago. For a great bio and amazing read check out the piece on Smithsonian.com. But it got me thinking in this day and age it’s really hard to think a brand that could even get close to lasting that long. Maybe Google?
