Dec 07, 2016 PHONE SHOOT
Sports Illustrator photographer Michael J. LeBrecht II, was asked to shoot Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the latest cover of SI. The catch was they wanted him to use a cellphone camera, the Hasselblad True Zoom attachment for a Motorola Moto Z. Hasselblad cameras can be purchased for upwards of tens of thousands of dollars, but for $299 and the price of a Moto Z you can own one of your own. Check out the behind the scenes footage from the SI shoot below and see if you think this phone attachment is worthy of replacing a traditional DSLR.
Some outtakes from the photoshoot can be seen on the SI site here.
