An amazing eye-catching design only gets more interesting when you find out how it opens. Chilean designer Emmanuel Gonzalez has come up with an update to your typical shelf. The Cuerda (Rope in English) is a sideboard that opens and closes like the ropes of a boxing ring.

Inspired by the shutters and the gesture of the ropes of a boxing ring, the rope is one and is intended to show the inside and in turn subtly hide them. The thanks of the string is that you can handle any team from outside sound without interference, the speakers can also be heard without problems. simple and effective.
It is made of plywood, wood turned legs and high-strength elastic rope.
