Apr 16, 2015 The Forensic Photographer
Forensic photography is the art of using photography as an enhancement of a crime scene. Areas of discovery include analyzing high/low speed video, enhancing blood splatter patterns, identifying hidden injuries or marks, or uncovering latent details that can only be discovered via photographic scrutiny. These are the types of evidence that make or break borderline investigations and can change the entire outcome of a courtroom battle. Although typically requiring a trained eye and an abstract view of the world as no case is ever the same, the art of forensic photography is slowly becoming a dying art with the increased access and affordability of quality equipment. Nick Marsh has been in the business for over twenty years and this is his story.
