May 28, 2014 Virtual Reality, again
We may all remember the whole virtual reality craze years ago, but with no real results. I think we blocked it out of our memories.
The Virtual Boy was the first virtual reality headset I could remember. Evidently people never gave up on this cause now we have the Oculus Rift, a successfully funded kickstarter project from 2012. Originally looking for $250,000 they received a whopping $2,437,429. 2 years later and Facebook has bought it for $2 billion dollars. So what’s it doing now?
It’s hard to hide from it these days, seems like there’s always buzz about someone working on a project for the Oculus Rift platform. So I thought I’d compile some of the buzz on the rift and it’s development kit.

It’s an exciting new platform and should be more successful than the Virtual Boy. Can’t wait to see where else developers will take us.
